Abilities
The Echo: A traditional echo that allows him to glimpse into the pasts of others. They are often preceded by debilitating headaches that can sometimes knock him down for hours afterward.
Archery: He was raised as a hunter and is proficient with a bow
Reaper: He was trained by his stepmother to use a scythe from a young age and is bonded with a small, many legged void drake.
Personality
Kind but not overly trusting. He doesn't like being misled or lied to and can get aggressive when he is. He may come off as distant or cautious when initially meeting someone.
He enjoys fighting and can be competitive at times.
He is often very blunt and doesn't like sugarcoating things when speaking to adults. He has a very grey way of thinking and will usually listen to both sides of a story before passing judgment, but will stop listening the moment he finds his loved ones are at risk.
He's a fighter and a woodsman, not an academic, and will mentally check out if caught in a scientific discussion.
He has no strict morals, often turning to the Scions and allies to direct his hand and will turn an eye to most lesser crimes. He hates being put on a pedestal and may become actively hostile if someone does so. He will often call attention to his own crimes and unsavory acts to detract from his own image.

Notes
He has a chocobo named Chulainn, who came from stolen Gold Saucer stock. The bird was one of the first things he purchased with coin earned from his work with the Lemures. The bird was retired to a sanctuary in the Twelveswood after sustaining an injury during his time in Nagxia.He was given Grani by Emet-Selch, and now uses it as his primary mount.
He has a pat Nagxian cat (named Pax) that he picked up off the streets of Kugane. He initially kept her purely in Mor Dhona, but will bring her with him on less dangerous missions.
Pre-Endwalker and after he joined the Scions, he fought almost exclusively with a bow to avoid calling too much attention to himself, but picked up his scythe again after returning to Garlemald.
His Garlean blood makes him naturally unable to use magic. He relies on his Avatar and to smaller degrees Hydaelyn and Midgardsormr's influences.
He struggles to sleep and is often plagued by trauma-related nightmares. He's often caught up and about at odd hours.
He travels light as a rule and doesn't have many possessions even settled, save for a small but growing collection of instruments. He enjoys singing and playing stringed instruments, but rarely does so in the presence of others.
He has a passing skill with machines but dislikes using guns because their scent after they fire is unpleasant to him.Even while working for the Scions, he still does work for the Lemures when he can and remains fiercely loyal to them.

Background
Cernunnos is the son of a Garlean scientist and a Veena living under Garlean occupation. His father died shortly after his birth and his mother raised him in the capital for the first six years of his life.
She later married a Garlean huntress and former assassin and the two moved to live in the woods outside a small town.
He was raised as a hunter, taught how to use the bow by his mothers, and learned extensively about the plants and animals living in Garlemald. He had little real academic teaching.Following the death of his birthmother to a wild animal, Cernunnos convinced his stepmother to teach him how to use the scythe so he could better protect the people he cared about. Later, against her wishes, he forged a pact with a voidsent.
He was conscripted into the Garlean army shortly after reaching adulthood, and served until the Battle of Silvertear Skies. He was severely wounded during the battle and only survived thanks to a member of the Lemures who found him washed up on the shores of Mor Dhona. He spent several months recovering in the Ul'dah, and eventually elected to stay and join them. His Echo was awoken during the fall of Dalamud. He didn't bother hiding his gift at first, but eventually hushed up when he and the Lemures realized the sort of attention he might draw. By then, however, one had caught word of his uncanny ability to see others' pasts and he was convinced (by coin more than virtue) to join the Scions.
